On 28 May 2026, from 15:00 to 18:00 CEST, the REFORMERS project will host a public workshop in Murau in a hybrid in person and online format.
The event, broadcast live from the Benediktinerstift St. Lambrecht in Murau (Austria) and accessible online via Microsoft Teams, is dedicated to transferring knowledge to other potential energy actors within Europe. REFORMERS public event in Murau Knowledge Transfer Workshop
The event will bring together project managers from leading renewable energy valleys, who will share their firsthand experiences, discuss key challenges, and highlight the opportunities driving their innovative projects.
The workshop will be structured in two parts:
Part #1 – Vision and strategies
The first part of the workshop will feature presentations of the REFORMERS Flagship and Austrian valleys, as well as presentations of the HEAVENN hydrogen valley and BalticSeaH2. A panel discussion will allow the speakers to interact together and a Q&A will collect questions and remarks from the participants.
Part #2 – Tools and interactivity
The second session will dive into two of REFORMERS practical tools and methodologies developed for Replication Valleys. Deep Blue and Vrije Universiteit Brussels will present the preliminary work conducted with Replication Valleys to implement a tailored Stakeholder Engagement strategy and Socio-Economic Impact Assessment for cities and regions deploying Energy Valleys. These presentations will complement real-world experiences shared by the Murau team. To ensure a collaborative approach, the activity will involve participants in an interactive feedback collection through an online board and a World Café breakout session, fostering networking opportunities among different European regions.
