Categories: Events, News

REFORMERS has been shortlisted for the World Hydrogen Awards 2025 in the Clean Hydrogen Project category, recognizing its systemic approach to energy innovation across European regions.

We’re excited to share that REFORMERS  has been shortlisted for the World Hydrogen Awards 2025 in the category Clean Hydrogen Project. This prestigious recognition places REFORMERS among the leading initiatives  that are shaping the integration of clean hydrogen through innovation, impact, and collaboration, within renewable energy systems.

The awards, hosted by the Sustainable Energy Council, celebrate excellence across the global hydrogen industry. Winners will be announced during the World Hydrogen 2025 Summit & Exhibition, taking place on 20 May 2025 in Rotterdam, in partnership with the Government of the Netherlands, the Province of Zuid-Holland, the City of Rotterdam, and the Port of Rotterdam.

A recognition of systemic change in action

The nomination acknowledges the innovative work of REFORMERS – towards energy transitio – by accelerating the implementation of Renewable Energy Valleys across Europe. These valleys are regional ecosystems where clean hydrogen acts as a lever for local innovation, community engagement, and cross-sector transformation. By gathering policy-makers, industry players, research institutions, and citizens, REFORMERS offers a systemic approach to clean hydrogen deployment – one that goes beyond technology to drive meaningful, place-based change, with our Flagship Valley in the Netherlands showing how clean hydrogen can power not only economies, but also resilient, inclusive communities.
